You must be pre-qualified by the Virginia Board for Contractors to take a specialty exam.
The Experience Verification Form (above), along with the application form, must be submitted to the Board to receive the pre-approval needed to take the specialty test with PSI.
PLAN AHEAD: pre-approval for specialty tests is taking at least 2 to 6 months - and that's AFTER you take the Prelicense course, pass the Business Exam, and submit your application and experience forms.
ON DEMAND course fee $1,350.
The H/H prep course is held on YOUR schedule.
When you receive the pre-approval to take the H/H specialty exam,
call 703-922-9228 or fill out the ON DEMAND request form (click here)
to schedule the test preparation course - in our classroom, or in your office, weekday, or weekend.
YES - the fee includes all the books, handouts, and permanent tabs for the test. The approved permanent tabs are not readily available in office supply stores, no matter what our competitors tell you.
BEWARE: Other education providers advertise a lower seminar price and then make you pay almost $3,000 extra for books.
Bring pen & paper to take notes - we provide everything else.

ACTUAL STUDENT COMMENTS:
"Yes, I did pass. You and your class is like using a shotgun to kill a fly; I couldn't miss!"
"I could have studied all day, every day for a month and I wouldn't have had a snowball's chance in hell of passing the test the first time without your course."
"I PASSED!!!!! As I said on Thursday morning it is the Teacher that makes the difference to teach and motivate the student! You are an amazing talent with the course study and your knowledge is just amazing! I appreciate your help!"
"I'm a bad test taker. But you made it idiot-proof."
"Thank you for a great class! I have taken the test and passed. Your course was right on target for my test...so much so that it was a breeze, even the areas in which I have no background whatsoever. I will be signing up today for the Class A/B Business Exam course."
"Just wanted to let you know I passed the exam. The proctor did not tell what I scored, but said I "killed it." Thank you for all the help."
"Your method works."
"Really enjoyed your class. You are a rarity in that you know the work, know the engineering principles required to detail the work disciplines, and finally/most importantly, are a very good teacher."
"I knew, within the first 10 minutes of the class, that I would pass the test."
"Wanted to let you know I took the H/H test Monday and passed, first time. Rather tough. I feel like I passed by the skin of my teeth, but of course they don’t give you the score. Thanks so much for all your help. You really have your program well designed and put together. I hate to think about the hours needed to do that on my own. Well worth your charge."
"You have no competition."
"Anyone who goes anywhere else for prep - they're just ridiculous."
"It was very difficult, probably one of the worst tests I've ever taken. But I passed it first time. I'm very happy."
"Awesome class you teach - you can have anyone call me or be happy to write a review."
"I've been in this business for 34 years. I know construction. But there's no frickin' way I could have passed this test without your prep course."
"You have every aspect of this worked out. Every detail. I give you props."
"Your class is fun."
